Next-level Paleo — Zero grain

Having been so pleased with the basic paleo approach I’ve decided to take it one step further by eliminating grains.

I’ve been eating grain my entire life. But grain is relatively recent development, far newer than most of my genetic code, and I am eager to see how my body performs without. Early results are promising. The first week alone saw the emergence of more muscle as the last remnants of obscuring body fat melt away. I miss the bread a bit but not as much as I enjoy the improved body composition. I keep doing double takes in the mirror whenever I change or am getting ready to hop in the shower because this seems like such an upgraded body from the one I had three months ago.

Even without grain there is plenty to eat: Meat, fish, eggs, veggies, fruit, coconut, avocado, olives… an incredibly variety of foods given that one can easily find dozens of different cuts and kinds of meat, hundreds of different fruits and vegetables, and thousands of ways to prepare them.
